This is a square painting 6x6. It is framed in black and the background is white. I glued in the collaged pieces beginning with tissue paper. Then I placed some rice paper that had been died on top of the tissue and added paint to the top. I also glued in mesh that come from a bag of oranges. Later I decided to glue on an accent piece of paper with lines to complete the work.I will soon start giving classes in contemporary mixed media experimental work using a varieity of papers, etc.
This is very interesting - but can't decide if the white beam is what's "Caught in the Net" or if that's a reflection from a flash photo? The
ReplyDeletelined accent piece does top it off! You have a great sense of design and know just what's needed to get the best result!
